CareerPing collects information you provide directly, including name, email address, and profile information. We also collect information about your use of the Service, including AI message history, resume analyses, and interview sessions. This data is used to improve our services and provide personalized experiences. All data collection is based on your explicit consent and is limited to what is necessary for the stated purposes.
3. Lawful Basis and Purpose of Processing
We process your personal data only for specific, clear, and lawful purposes. Your data is processed for: (a) providing and maintaining the Service; (b) processing payments and subscriptions; (c) communicating with you about your account; (d) analyzing usage patterns to enhance our offerings; and (e) providing personalized AI guidance and recommendations. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. We may continue to process your data for other lawful purposes if applicable.

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill our legal obligations under the DPDP Act. Once the purpose is achieved, we securely delete or anonymize your data. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your account settings, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We use third-party services including Stripe for payment processing and Together AI for AI-powered features. These services are Data Processors who process data only on our instructions. We have appropriate data processing agreements in place with all third-party processors. We do not share your personal data with any other parties without your explicit consent unless required by law.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than India. We ensure that such transfers are made in accordance with the DPDP Act requirements and that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data. We use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, analyze usage patterns, and personalize content. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Service. Our cookie usage is compliant with the DPDP Act requirements.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age as per the DPDP Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will take immediate steps to delete it in accordance with applicable law.
13. Grievance Redressal

16. Ownership and Jurisdiction
CareerPing is developed and managed by RedNek Corporate Private Limited, which is the sole owner of the platform. Any legal claims, disputes, or proceedings arising from or related to this Privacy Policy or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Telangana, Hyderabad, India, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
